Cape Grace, a major hotel, is set on its own private quay on Cape Town's vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The goal for Cape Grace was to use Rocketseed branded emails in order to enhance their brand in the market place and to standardise the look and feel of their outgoing communications. They were also keen on being able to market their restaurant and bar as well as their spa facilities within the hotel. Cape Grace has used Rocketseed inserts in their outgoing email to enhance their brand. These inserts are carefully designed to portray the elegance and sophistication that is associated with Cape Grace. Over the three month period 01 December to 28 February, Cape Grace reached more than 16,000 email recipients with their branded messages. All of these communications were everyday company related email and allowed each and every email sender within the company to become, not only a marketer, but also an extension the company’s brand.

QHotels was founded in March 2003 by a team of experienced hoteliers in collaboration with Alchemy Partners. In keeping with the company ethos of quality and innovation, QHotels selected and began using Rocketseed in October 2006 to brand all the company’s outgoing emails. The beauty of Rocketseed is that it enables people to go from an email directly to information of interest to them. This earned a click-through rate of over 10%, well above the 3% industry average. The level of insight and detail available through Rocketseed reporting is also generating a raft of new marketing opportunities. Qhotels hopes thatt in the future 20% of their bookings will flow through their website and thus Rocketseed. This will contribute directly to profit growth.
