Will RocketSeed affect deliverability?

Not at all. RocketSeed actually helps ensure that your emails reach their intended recipients. Our support staff proactively monitor any delivery errors, and can address issues on the receiver’s mail system, issues with incorrect blacklisting and other potential delivery problems.

Does branding increase mail overhead?

Not significantly. While the choice is yours, our Branding Guidelines suggest limiting the branding payload to under 25KB; which is typically a small percentage increase in the size of an email message.

In correspondence chains you have the option to remove old branding images and only add branding to the most recent email content, preventing the buildup of branding elements in email conversations.

When constructing new branding elements, the system clearly displays the size of the payload. It’s possible to set limits to prevent exceeding whatever threshold you determine to be appropriate.

Is your solution reliable?

Absolutely. Our standard installations include full redundancy, in many cases with tandem servers in geographically separated data centres. We employ servers in data centres on four continents to allow for maximum dispersal, and we maintain support staff around the clock and around the globe.

Does branding cause delivery delays?

With a dedicated RocketSeed server correctly sized for your load, time taken to process an emai message is measured in milliseconds. Of course, if you send a large attachment to a huge number of recipients at once, you may incur a temporary delay.

For sending a message to thousands of recipients we recommend that you use our RocketMailer bulk mail solution to optimise delivery.

On shared servers we limit the attachment size and the number of recipients of a single message to ensure that no one customer can disrupt delivery for others.

Can I see what branding will be applied to my mail?

Branding is centrally controlled, typically by your Marketing department. This is normally considered to be a feature, as senders do not have to concern themselves with the branding process.

Senders can select specific branding, and can disable branding on individual emails, by use of keywords inserted on the mail subject line.

We offer a testing service where a sample mail can be returned to the sender with branding attached. This allows for previews to check on how the branding will appear.

How fast can your relay process mails?

Our scalable three-tier architecture has  no fixed upper limit on throughput. Our highest-rated servers currently deliver more than 3 million mails every 24 hours.

Can other customers on a shared relay read our mail?

No.
